Applicants will be considered through a blind listening process to ensure there is no bias while evaluating acts for the festival.
The MACROCK committee's listening process is as follows: As a committee, we conduct what we call a "blind listening". Each committee member jointly listens to the submitted tracks before reviewing the application. This means we keep ourselves in the dark as to who you are, where you're from, your status in terms of being signed to a label, etc. We do this in order to arrive at a decision with as little bias as possible. We listen to every application that is submitted in accordance with our guidelines.
