We are so stoked that you have invaded our sleepy little town for one of the best weekends in all of music. A lot of hard work went into making this happen and we are so excited that the fest is finally here! That being said if you see someone in a macrock t-shirt give them a thanks, a high five, or some form of stoke for all their hard work

If you purchased tickets you can pick them up at the Court Square Theatre box office (41-F Court Square, Harrisonburg, VA 22801) where you will receive a guide book and a wristband. If you are purchasing tickets you can also go to that the same box office using cash or card, no personal checks will be accepted.

Your guidebook will be your map to all the amazing music this year has to offer, make sure to not lose it, to stay hydrated, and to have fun. Harrisonburg also has so much to offer in terms of food and drink. A good place to start would be to take a look at our sponsors in the guidebook as they are friends of Macrock, or ask someone in a volunteer shirt where you can get a quick bite to eat or a fancy drink.

*IMPORTANT SCHEDULE CHANGE*

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Torch Runner has to drop from the Metal Showcase. We are very sad they won’t be playing. Unfortunately, the guidebooks were printed before they dropped. The Schedule will now be:

Ilsa – 9:00-9:50
Occultist – 7:55 – 8:45
Escuela – 7:05 – 7:40
Shadow of the destroyer – 6:15 – 6:50
No/Mas – 5:25 – 6:00

It is correct on our website but it will not be correct in the guidebook! Sorry for the inconvenience.

MACROCK 2019 Lineup Announcement!!

We are excited to announce that we are about to release the 2019 MACROCK lineup in full!  We received a massive amount of applications this year, but after weeks of listening to your music and crafting genre showcases we hope to be able to release the full lineup early next week!

We will also be putting up links for pre-sale tickets in the near future.  Stay tuned for a link to buy your discounted weekend pre-sale badge.

Lastly we are adding another offering to our arts and panels this year.  We are very happy to announce that MACROCK in conjunction with Blue Sprocket Sound will for the first time ever be releasing podcast style interviews with select bands from the festival.  We are passionate about the music that we feature at the festival, and are excited to use this media format to give DIY artists the chance to share their story with all of you!

Rock Lotto!!

MACROCK is very excited to be hosting Rock Lotto for a second time his January!

Sign-ups and drawing will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the Golden Pony at 8PM.

Just to keep it fresh, we’re changing the rules a little this year. You will NOT sign-up or draw by instrument. Instead there will be just one pool of 60 people so whatever combination of 5 gets drawn is what you get.

We’ve also shortened the time by a couple of weeks and the shows will be on March 10 &11, 2019.

We will also be screening Blue Summit Pictures documentary The Rock Lotto before the signups.
